The Text Us widget is an embeddable button you can add to your website that lets visitors start a text conversation with you. When someone clicks it, they're prompted to send a text message that goes straight to your inbox. It's a frictionless way to get people off your website and into a real conversation.

Grab the widget code snippet from your workspace settings, then add it to your website. Here's how to do it on a couple of popular platforms:

Step 1. Log in to Wix

Head over to your Wix dashboard.

Step 2. Open Settings

Click Settings on the left-hand panel.

Step 3. Go to Custom Code

Scroll down and click Custom Code.

Step 4. Add the code snippet

Click Add Code under the Head section, then paste your Text Us widget code snippet.

Step 5. Apply your changes

Click Apply to save.

Note: It can take a few minutes for the widget to appear on your live site.

The easiest way to add the widget to WordPress is with the free WPCode plugin.

Step 1. Install the WPCode plugin

In your WordPress admin dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New and search for WPCode. Install and activate the plugin.

Step 2. Add a new snippet

Go to Code Snippets > Header & Footer in your WordPress sidebar.

Step 3. Paste the widget code

Paste your Text Us widget code snippet into the Header section.

Step 4. Save your changes

Click Save Changes.

Note: It can take a few minutes for the widget to appear on your live site.

If you'd rather not install a plugin, you can add the snippet directly to your theme's header file.

Step 1. Open the Theme Editor

In your WordPress admin dashboard, go to Appearance > Theme File Editor.

Step 2. Open header.php

In the file list on the right, click header.php.

Step 3. Paste the widget code

Paste your Text Us widget code snippet just before the closing </head> tag.

Step 4. Save your changes

Click Update File.

Warning: Theme updates can overwrite your changes. If your theme updates frequently, the WPCode plugin method is a safer option.

Note: It can take a few minutes for the widget to appear on your live site.

Step 1. Open Code Injection

In your Squarespace dashboard, go to Settings > Advanced > Code Injection.

Step 2. Paste the widget code

Paste your Text Us widget code snippet into the Header field.

Step 3. Save your changes

Click Save.

Note: It can take a few minutes for the widget to appear on your live site.

Step 1. Open your site in the builder

Log in to Hostinger and open your website in the Website Builder.

Step 2. Go to Integrations

Click the three dots menu in the top bar, then click Integrations.

Step 3. Paste the widget code

Scroll to the Custom code section and paste your Text Us widget code snippet. If you already have other snippets there, paste it below them, not inside them.

Step 4. Save and update your website

Save your changes, then click Update website to publish them.

Note: The widget won't show up inside the builder itself. Use preview mode or visit your live site to see it.

Step 1. Open your project settings

In your Webflow dashboard, open your project and click the gear icon to go to Project Settings.

Step 2. Go to Custom Code

Click the Custom Code tab.

Step 3. Paste the widget code

Paste your Text Us widget code snippet into the Head Code section.

Step 4. Save and publish

Click Save Changes, then publish your site for the changes to go live.
