What is a disposition?
A disposition is the outcome of a call: "Left voicemail", "Booked review", "Wrong number". You pick one after a call so anyone looking at the call later knows what happened without listening to it, and so you can see how calls end across your whole team.
Everyone in your workspace shares one list of dispositions. Each call can have one disposition, and you can change or clear it at any time.
How do I set up the list?
The list is managed in the web app on a computer.
Step 1. Open disposition settings
Go to Settings, then Dispositions under the Calling section.
Step 2. Add a disposition
Click New disposition, type a name such as "Left voicemail", and click Create. Names are up to 100 characters and have to be unique.
Step 3. Keep it short
Five to ten outcomes is plenty. If people have to scroll to find the right one, they'll skip it.
To rename one, click the pencil icon next to it. To retire one, click the archive icon and confirm. Archiving removes it from the picker for future calls, but past calls and your analytics keep it, so you don't lose history. Archived dispositions show in their own section with a Restore button.
Tip: Your team can also add dispositions on the spot from the mobile app after a call. Those go into the same shared list, so check the settings page now and then and archive any duplicates.
How do I tag a call?
On the web
Open your calls list, click a call, and pick a disposition in the Disposition card. Click None to clear it.
To tag several calls at once, tick them in the calls list and click Set disposition. The one you choose replaces whatever was on those calls before.
On the mobile app
Open a call from the Calls tab or a conversation and use the Disposition card.
Search the list, or type a new name and tap Create to add one that isn't there yet.
After a call of 30 seconds or more, the app can prompt you with a call note that includes the disposition picker. Turn this on in Settings, then Preferences, under Call note prompt. It's off by default.
Where do dispositions show up?
On the call itself, in the call details on web and mobile, so a teammate reviewing the call sees the outcome right away.
In call analytics, where you can filter calls by disposition and see a breakdown of how calls ended over a date range.
Dispositions are for calls only. They don't apply to text conversations, and setting one doesn't add tags or notes anywhere else. For a written record of what was said, add a call note, and for an automatic summary see AI call summaries.
