What does the Salesforce integration do?
Contacts sync from Salesforce into CurrentClient every morning, and calls and texts are written back to the contact as notes. On a contact in CurrentClient you can also read the notes and tasks that already exist in Salesforce.

How do I connect Salesforce?
The account owner does this once, in the web app.
Step 1. Open CRM sync
Go to Settings, then CRM sync, open Choose a CRM, and pick Salesforce.
Step 2. Enter your Salesforce subdomain
Type the first part of your Salesforce address. If you sign in at mycompany.my.salesforce.com, enter mycompany.
Step 3. Sign in to Salesforce
Click Connect. You'll be sent to Salesforce to sign in and approve the connection, then brought back to CurrentClient. "Connection is live" means it worked.
Each teammate then goes to Settings, then CRM and clicks Connect under Salesforce to link their own Salesforce login. It has to be a user in the same Salesforce org.
What syncs?
All contacts. Every contact in the org syncs.
Custom fields. Click Setup custom fields on the CRM sync page to add Gender, Age, Marital Status, Do not call, and Last Activity Date. Those come from the Financial Services Cloud fields, so if your org uses different ones, contact us and we'll set them up.
Activity back to Salesforce. Calls and daily text summaries go on the contact as notes, per your Sync Options.
On a contact's page in CurrentClient you can see their Salesforce notes and tasks alongside their calls and texts.
What if it stops syncing?
Salesforce sessions expire from time to time. When you see Action needed at the top of the app, open the CRM sync page and click Relink connection. It reconnects to the same org.
