About the role
CurrentClient is a fast-growing early stage SaaS startup building compliant communication software for financial and wealth advisors. We help advisors communicate with their clients while meeting regulatory requirements.
As we scale, we're looking for an Account Executive to join our team. As we evolve from primarily founder-led sales to the next stage of company growth, we need someone who can own the full sales cycle: sourcing new leads, diving into a large pipeline of existing leads, running product demos, and closing deals.
This is an ideal opportunity for a self-starting sales professional with a growth mindset who wants a lot of ownership of the sales process in a fast-moving startup that has a solid product, great customer retention, and has largely grown through word of mouth and key relationships. You'll report directly to the COO and play a key role in growing the company to the next level. You will be supported by marketing efforts, an ongoing supply of inbound leads, heavy automation, and a team that can empower you with whatever tools you see fit to be as successful as possible.
Key responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close: identify and qualify new leads, run discovery calls, deliver compelling product demos, and close new business.
- Work leads we've already identified through outbound outreach and follow up (email, phone, text, and LinkedIn).
- Leverage our sales tools daily, including our CRM, a national database of financial advisors, website visitor identification, and other automation software designed to make your job easier.
- Represent CurrentClient at industry conferences and events, building relationships and generating leads face to face.
- Help work and close new and existing industry network partnerships.
- Assist with marketing efforts by leading partner webinars and contributing to social media efforts.
- Become familiar with our product and provide feedback to the product team based on information discovered throughout the sales process.
- Collaborate closely with the customer experience team to ensure smooth handoffs from closed deal to onboarding.
- Collaborate on and help refine our sales process, messaging, and playbooks.
- Be available during core office hours, with occasional in-person meetings and travel to conferences.
Where the role goes
As the company grows, you'll take on increasing responsibility for refining the sales playbook, improving conversion metrics across the funnel, and potentially building and leading a sales team as we scale.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as an Account Executive in B2B SaaS.
- Proven ability to run a full sales cycle: prospecting, lead qualification, demo, negotiation, and close.
- Able to build rapport and trust quickly with a professional, compliance-conscious audience.
- Quick learner who thrives in a dynamic, ambiguous startup environment and takes strong ownership of work.
- Comfortable working autonomously while collaborating effectively with a small, close-knit team.
- Passion for winning and a willingness to pursue opportunities with speed and urgency.
- Able to pass a background check.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with the financial advisor or wealth management industry.
- Experience attending or working industry conferences and trade shows.
- Prior startup or entrepreneurial experience.
What we offer
- Base salary: $100,000
- Uncapped commission with on-target earnings of $200,000

Location
This role is primarily remote with occasional in-person meetings for team alignment and collaboration, plus travel to industry conferences. Candidates must reside in Utah, preferably Utah Valley, St. George, or Salt Lake Valley.
