Keyboard shortcuts

Every keyboard shortcut in CurrentClient, from the command palette to the inbox, dialer, and team chat

Written by Dustin Belliston

Before you start

Keyboard shortcuts work in CurrentClient on a computer, in the web app and the desktop app. A few things to know:

  • Cmd/Ctrl means Cmd on a Mac and Ctrl on Windows.

  • Single-letter shortcuts don't fire while you're typing in a text box, so you can type freely. Press Esc to leave the text box first.

  • Shortcuts marked (preference) below only work after you turn them on. Go to Settings, Preferences, switch on Enable under App shortcut keys, and click Save. Everything else is always on.

Anywhere in the app

Letters that do more than one thing

A few letters change meaning depending on where you are. A call always comes first.

  • E marks a conversation done in the inbox, completes a notification, and hangs up during a call.

  • T starts a new text anywhere, texts the highlighted contact in the command palette, and texts the dialed number in the dialer.

  • C calls the highlighted contact in the command palette and places the call in the dialer.
