Journal text messages into Microsoft 365 through Exchange Online
Updated May 29, 2026
Connect CurrentClient to Microsoft 365 to automatically forward every text message into your Exchange Online journaling mailbox for books and records compliance.
How does Outlook journaling work?#
Exchange Online journaling forwards a copy of every covered message to a journaling mailbox. CurrentClient sends your text messages to that journaling address so they're captured by Microsoft 365 alongside your email for SEC and FINRA recordkeeping.
What you'll need#
The journal destination email address from your Exchange Online journaling rule. If you haven't created a journaling rule yet, your Microsoft 365 admin can set one up in the Exchange admin center under Compliance Management.
Connect Microsoft Outlook#
Open the Microsoft Outlook setup screen and paste in your journal address.
